[It's the Blue Light, and Edmund is at the bar, one elbow on it, chin in hand. He's grown, today - thank you, full moon - and it's vaguely empty, still - it's late, and a Monday.]

I figure I ought to get out of this rut and actually do something. We lost a waitress and I need someone who actually knows alcohol, as well.

Does anyone need a job?

[ooc: if you want to meet Ed in the Blue Light, action is welcome!]

I can do some training, if that'd help.

[It is probably very, very late by the time Rosella finally puts in her appearance, rumpled and wrinkled and probably covered in a fine layer of dirt, mangled and uneven braids hanging long down her back. It's a testament to just how tired she is that she didn't try to walk back to either of her current safe havens, the Pevensie complex or the Warehouse; ultimately, she opted for the shortest and simplest walk, which for Rosella is really saying something.

She wanders in slowly, half-asleep and almost as if in a daze, moving at a snail's pace as she collapses into the first empty booth she comes across and slumps, fast asleep almost before her head comes to rest on the forearms she's placed crossed on the tabletop.]

You've watched Peter do his job, you'll get the hang of it eventually.

Meanwhile, I'll handle the bar. I'm sure Ginny can train the new waitresses.

[She's too far in the grasp of slumber to properly appreciate his displeasure or even the words themselves, but the noise does prove to be enough to rouse her a little, which comes with a halfhearted grumble of her own.]

Mnnnnnnnnnnn.

[Her eyes open about a quarter of the way.]

...'mund?

I suppose that's for you to fix.

[ Not that he has a stellar attendance record, but he has...excuses, okay. ]

[It takes a mighty effort to pick herself up enough to actually stand a chance at that, but she manages it. Such is her willpower.]

Where'm I?

Oh. [YAAAAAAAAAAAAWN.] S'funny. I thought I was walking to Blue's...

[She rubs her eyes, sipping the water and shaking her head as she tries to wake herself up.]

I've been awake awhile.

I would like to help, but I'm not certain I would be suited for the work. And I do not know alcohol.

Mmhmm. Er, no--yes, I just walked, no, Valor's not out there. He's in the Barn.

[Another yawn.]

A day or two? Closer to two, I think. No, it was...a few days, and then I had a nap, and then I was up again. So it's been a while, I think.

Not truly, no. I help out at the library sometimes.

[Not only does she not protest this, she almost instinctively tucks her head into his shoulder, taking advantage of the opportunity to close her eyes again.]

'S a message on the Network. A few...days ago. Cain was kidnapped and I was out looking. ...For him. Mmmnwe found him a little while ago.

What sort of work is it that you offer? Perhaps, if need be, I can still help.

I'm afraid I only have very passing knowledge of what work in a bar might entail. I've never been to one.

I've been to a café, though.
